How to get to the Nice ferry terminal?
Taking the Nice - Corsica ferry from Place Garibaldi
From Place Garibaldi, allow about 10 to 15 minutes on foot to reach the Nice ferry terminal. The ferry boarding area in Nice is located in front of the Port Nice Plaisance harbour master's office, at the very end of the Quai des Deux-Emmanuels, where it meets the Quai Entrecasteaux, right in front of the Entrecasteaux car park.
The port of Nice is the departure point for ferries to Corsica, mostly operated by Corsica Ferries: to Bastia all year round, and in season to L'Île-Rousse, Ajaccio and Porto-Vecchio. Whether you are taking the Nice - Corsica ferry or boarding a cruise, here is the easiest way to get there from Place Garibaldi.

Walk down rue Cassini to the port
Whether you get off tram lines 2 and 3 (Airport line: "Garibaldi / Le Château" stop) or tram line 1 (Train line: "Garibaldi" stop), you will arrive near Place Garibaldi and then need to head to rue Cassini, the main street running down to the Port of Nice. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk down this street.
- From the "Garibaldi / Le Château" tram stop - lines 2 and 3: cross rue Catherine Ségurane (see photo) and walk down the little alley "Passage Catherine Ségurane" to reach rue Cassini.
- From the "Garibaldi" tram stop - line 1: cross Place Garibaldi and the street up to the fountain, then head to rue Cassini.

Drop off your suitcases at the Port of Nice luggage storage
Once at 16 bis rue Cassini, leave your bags and suitcases with CITY-LOCKER at the Port of Nice luggage storage. You can leave in your locker anything you don't want to take with you on your boat trip, or simply store your luggage until boarding.
The Port of Nice luggage storage is open every day of the year without exception, from 8 am to 10 pm. Booking in advance is recommended.

Pick up some local specialities for the crossing
A little further down, at 28 rue Cassini, at "D’AQUÌ", just before you reach the Port of Nice, we recommend buying a few barbajuans to enjoy during your crossing. You will find a wide range of specialities from Nice and Menton, traditional or reinvented. We particularly recommend the vegetable pies.

Walk past the Notre-Dame du Port church in Nice
You have now reached the Port of Nice, and you are only a few minutes from the boarding point for your ferry or cruise ship. Cross Place de l'Île de Beauté towards the Quai des Deux-Emmanuels, on the east side of the Port of Nice. You will pass the Notre-Dame du Port church, which will be on your left. Also known as the Church of the Immaculate Conception, it was built between 1840 and 1853.

Walk along the Quai des Deux-Emmanuels at the Port of Nice
Walk along the Quai des Deux-Emmanuels for about a hundred metres. This street runs along the east side of the Port of Nice, past a few restaurants and bars, with the Nice marina on your right. The ferry terminal is at the end of this straight stretch, less than a 4-minute walk away.

Admire the Pointus of the Port of Nice
On the way, admire the beautiful Pointus de Nice, traditional boats full of colour and character. They are moored together along this part of the Port of Nice. Take the opportunity to snap a photo of the Pointus with the church and Place de l'Île de Beauté in the background. It is one of the loveliest views in Nice, changing with every hour of the day. If you are a little early, you can even sit by the water and enjoy your barbajuans.

Board your ferry or cruise ship
You have reached the end of the Quai des Deux-Emmanuels, by the Entrecasteaux car park. This is where boarding begins for your ferry or cruise. Your ferry to Corsica should be waiting for you at the Quai du Commerce: you can see the bow of the ship in the photo. Have a good crossing!
